Healthy Chamomile & Lavender Lemonade

This refreshing and Healthy Chamomile & Lavender Lemonade is a delicious alternative to sugar and chemical laden store bought lemonade. You will find plenty of vitamin C in this nourishing drink which is an important nutrient helps support skin health and immune health. Citrus fruits are a fantastic source of antioxidants to help reduce oxidative damage in the body. Serve your lemonade straight after squeezing your lemons to reap all the benefits of this valuable vitamin. Chamomile and lavender are wonderful calming herbs that are great for relieving stress and can help you sleep. This is a lovely drink for kids too instead of unhealthy soft drink.

Healthy Chamomile & Lavender Lemonade


1 cup water
1 Tbsp Bodhi Organic SereniTEA
1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (approx. 6 lemons)
2 1/2 cups sparkling mineral water
1/4 cup raw honey
Ice


Method:

  1. In a jug add a tablespoon of SereniTEA and cover it with 1 cup of boiling water. Leave it to steep for 30 minutes.
  2. Strain and then place your tea in the fridge to cool.
  3. Once cooled stir through freshly squeezed lemon juice, sparkling mineral water, and honey.
  4. Add plenty of ice and then garnish with lemon slices and dried lavender.

Makes 6 glasses.
